Stogumber Young Musicians Concert – Saturday 26 April

After the success of the NSPCC concert a couple of years ago, we are planning on another young musicians concert.

Saturday 26 April 5pm

We would love to give the stage to musicians and singers aged 5 to 20(ish) performing all varieties of music (and it would be especially nice to include performers living in West Somerset).

Performers are assured of a supportive audience, as Stogumber is a very musical village, with a church choir, school choir, village choir, male and a female vocal groups, and hosts classical and folk music concerts.

The church has a Broadwood grand piano, a good organ and electronic keyboard, which performers are welcome to use. We also have a piano and organ accompanist, Christopher Legrove, who is known for supporting and encouraging performers.

Please contact julianspicer@Hotmail.com for further details.

Proceeds from the concert would be shared between Stogumber Church and one or two musical and/or children’s charities.
