Somerset Music

We are the County Council's music service, offering a wide range of services to Children and Young People across the county.
Our service aims to inspire young people from all of Somerset to make music together, unlocking the musician within. We deliver music lessons to all group sizes and ensembles and arrange events, conferences, workshops and bespoke training for all your musical tuition needs.

Somerset Music delivers a range of whole class and large group music tuition in a variety of instruments including brass, strings, wind instruments, drumming and samba. In the main, these sessions are delivered to children in Key Stage 2 but we welcome the opportunity to work with groups of older children as they progress through their education.

Somerset Music is a lead partner in the Somerset Music Education Hub and is supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
