About Secondary Provision
If you are a Head of Music/work in a Secondary School then Somerset Music is pleased to be able to offer the following opportunities to support the delivery of music within your school:
The secondary school membership package for 2026-27 which for £375 includes the following:
G&T vocal workshop – a 2 hour vocal workshop for pupils showing vocal ability. The opportunity to work with West End professionals, combining their passion with fun and learning some of the tricks of the trade. The session allows your pupils to dance, act and sing songs from a popular show.
Music First subscription – unlimited seats (see below for details)
The Music First subscription includes unlimited seats for:
- Charanga Secondary feat. YuStudio® – A rich library of interactive resources and creative tools to elevate music learning, including YuStudio®, the award-winning cloud-based DAW for schools.
- Focus on Sound – The popular multimedia music encyclopedia used by over 1,000 secondaries to develop listening skills, theory, composing, and musical knowledge.
- Auralia – Advanced ear training software covering a wide range of music theory and practice topics, helping students develop essential listening skills.
- Musition – Music theory software and lessons to hone students’ sight reading and music theory skills.
- OGenPlus – An intuitive “pre-DAW” tool supporting students’ creativity and allowing them to craft, arrange, record, and export compositions effortlessly
1:1 support with music development plan/summary (with SLT if required)
Class set of 30 instruments on 1yr loan (One set, subject to availability)
Priority place at a regional Singing Festival/Large Scale event
