About Secondary Provision

If you are a Head of Music/work in a Secondary School then Somerset Music is please to be able to offer the following opportunities to support the delivery of music within your school:

The Secondary offer of 10 hours provision for £100 – the 10 hours can be used for the following options; provide instrumental/vocal taster lessons, half day or full day workshops on a variety of instruments tailored to your needs, support to establish an ensemble within the school.

A Gifted & Talented vocal workshop – the opportunity for selected pupils to take part in a workshop run by West End professionals, hosted at your school during the first half of the Spring Term for only £65. Additional workshops can be purchased at full cost.

Support with singing resources for your school – a £100 subsidy is available towards high quality singing resources that our partner organisations publish. You can choose from either a small Sing Up membership, a large Sing Up membership or a Charanga Secondary Package membership.

Somerset Music offers a choice of lessons on a wide range of instruments and is able to invoice parents directly.

• Large group tuition (5 or more pupils) – £31.50 per 30 minute lesson
• Small group lesson (2 or 3 pupils) – £7.25 per pupil per 20 or 30 minute lesson
• Individual 20 minute lesson – £14.50 per pupil
• Individual 30 minute lesson – £21.75 per pupil

Support with an ensemble, this could be during lunchtime or an after school group e.g. orchestra or samba band.
