About Primary School Membership Package

Somerset Music Membership 2025/2026

All memberships include:

Sing Up OR Charanga subscription

Termly CPD online

Priority place at a Singing Festival

1:1 Support with Music Development plan

Choir leaders network + CPD

Plus one CPD option from each of Option A Curriculum, Option B CPD, Option C Singing and Wellbeing

Cost: Small School <100 = £250

Medium School 101-250 = £305

Large School >250 = £350

Option A: Curriculum and Co-curricular Support

1:1 Primary Curriculum Support (3 hrs across the year)
Support for Music subject Lead in developing the curriculum, reviewing curriculum planning and provide music progression documents.
Provide a music lesson observation with feedback for member of staff
Provide a model Music Lesson for staff training

OR

Support to deliver either Sing Up or Charanga scheme. (3hrs across the year)
Initial meeting with music co-ordinator and delivery of a lesson.
Review meeting at the end of the unit of work with observation if required and planning for next steps.

Option B: Curriculum Music Training (90 mins)

Curriculum based training session to upskill staff in the delivery of the music curriculum.

Option C:
Singing and Wellbeing

Leading Effective Singing Assemblies (90 mins)

Communal singing with progression. How singing together collectively creates well-being.

Singing as the Golden Thread (90mins)

Embedding singing through the school day to support learning as well as create community and belonging.

OR

Choir Surgery (90mins)

Support with developing your choir. The session will be tailored to your choirs individual needs.
E.G. part singing, developing repertoire, performance & rehearsal techniques, vocal health.

About Other Opportunities

Other Opportunities

30-minute performance, suitable for the whole school, by a Somerset Music ensemble. An opportunity for your pupils to experience live music and to support delivery of the NPME - £100
(subject to availability)

1-hour bespoke twilight CPD for staff - £125

Workshop

Curriculum unit of work + 1:1 meeting X 2 = £575
(meeting at the beginning and end of unit review)

Bespoke singing Project - £350 A 10 week project of 60 mins per week in schools with a professional singing leader to establish, develop or refine the school choir. The support will include technique, repertoire and performance practice.
