Lead Schools for Somerset
We’re delighted to share some exciting news with you — the Octagon Music Hub now has Lead Schools for Music! In Somerset they are:
Strode College
Kingsmead School and Sixth Form
Holyrood Academy
The Castle School
West Pennard C of E Primary School
Combe St Nicholas C of E Primary School
St Paul’s C of E Junior School
Polden Bower
These schools have been selected, following an open application, for their outstanding commitment to music education and will play a key role in supporting and inspiring others across the network. As Lead Schools, they will:
- Champion high-quality music provision
- Share best practices and resources
- Offer support and guidance to other schools
- Help raise the profile of music in education
We believe this initiative will strengthen music education across the Octagon Music Hub and provide valuable opportunities for collaboration, enrichment, and professional development.
